The Case:
The Gant Sussex G161009 is presented in a circular stainless steel case that measures 44mm in width and 11mm in depth. The case showcases a polished fixed fluted bezel, delivering a striking visual juxtaposition with the brushed case body. A knurled push/pull crown is present at the 3 o’clock position. The watch benefits from the durability of mineral glass, shielding it from both scratches and potential shattering. A solid caseback ensures the case is securely sealed.
The Dial:
The blue dial showcases a simple, yet elegant design. The time is displayed in an analogue format through gold framed baton-style hour markers and a gold polished dauphine-style handset. Both the hour markers and handset are coated in a luminous material, for enhanced nighttime visibility. Additionally, a date display window replaces the 3 o’clock marker, it is magnified by a cyclops lens.
The Bracelet:
The watch is complemented by a 3-link oyster-style stainless steel bracelet that has been treated to a polished finish and is presented in gold/silver tones. It fastens through the use of a fold-over push-button deployment clasp.
The Functions:
The timepiece is driven by precision and reliability, thanks to its quartz mechanisms. It also boasts a water resistance rating of 100 metres, making it suitable for swimming or snorkelling while wearing the watch, although it's not intended for diving purposes.
