The Columbia CSC03-003 Silicone Peak Patrol Watch is the perfect rugged watch to accompany you on your outdoor adventures. It offers you simplicity, durability and legibility.
The Case:
The case’s diameter measures at 42mm and it is made of stainless steel, in order to increase the longevity of the watch. The bezel also features raised numeral markings that feature as additional time-keeping aid. The bezel is finished using a brushed technique, which provides a contrast between the matte finish on the rest of the bezel. It also features a knurled crown that is situated at the 4 o’clock marks. Knurled crowns are also used on the widely respected Seiko SKX divers. The crown topped with a crown guards in order to provide the watch with extra protection against the unexpected. Mineral-hardened glass is also used which provides the watch with a further layer of protection.
The Bracelet and Dial:
The grey silicone provides you with maximum comfort and durability, that lets you explore confidently. Also, it is an non toxic and environmentally friendly. The strap fastens easily using a buckle clasp. The dial of the watch is grey, it features silver indices, with a blue trim through in the middle, and white lume coated hands. There is a day date window present at the 4 o’clock mark. Another alluring feature of this timepiece is the bi-colour dial ring. Notably the crown guard is the same vibrant blue colour as the trim of the middle of the indices, which is a subtly pleasing touch.
The Functions:
The watch is powered by highly reliable Japanese quartz movement. Also the watch is water resistant up to 50 metres, making the watch suitable for swimming in shallow depths.

The Brand: Columbia
The brand’s history began in 1937, when the Lammfromm family fled from Nazi Germany and settled in Portland, Oregon. They purchased a small hat manufacturer, naming it the Columbia Hat Company. The company was eventually passed down to Neal Boyle, the husband of Gert Boyle who's father it was who started the company. Gert Boyle eventually assumed control of the company in 1970, following Neal Boyle’s sudden passing. She soon earned herself a reputation as the ‘Tough Mother’ of the company due to the high standards to which she held herself and others. These standards still guide the company today.
