The Case:
The Orient Semi Skeleton Open Heart RA-AR0003L10B is presented in a circular polished stainless steel case that measures 41mm in width. The design of the case is simple and elegant, emanating a timelessly stylish feel. It exhibits minimal complications such as: a fixed bezel, a signed push/pull crown at 3 o’clock and short angular lugs. The case also features a sapphire crystal, which lends to the watch’s timeless aesthetic. The solid case back has been etched with the Orient logo.
The Dial:
The semi skeletonised dial is presented in blue, exhibiting silver baton-style hour markers and a silver sword-style handset - both have been coated in a luminous material to allow for nighttime readability. Located at 9 o’clock is an open-heart display that reveals the balance wheel - because the balance wheel is considered the beating heart of the watch. It also features a sub-dial at 6 o’clock that showcases a 60-second display. The Orient logo is proudly situated beneath the 12 o’clock marker.
The Bracelet:
The watch is presented on a stainless steel 3-link oyster style bracelet that has been treated to a combination of brushed and polished finishes. The bracelet fastens through the use of a fold over deployment clasp.
The Functions:
Orient’s calibre F6222 automatic movement powers this timepiece. It is a self winding movement that consists of 24 jewels and offers a power reserve of 40 hours. It has an accuracy of +25/-15 seconds per day. It is water resistant to 30 metres, meaning it should not be exposed to anything more than light splashes of water.
