The Case:
The Gant Waterville is housed in a stainless steel case, measuring 45mm in width and 11mm in depth. It features a blue unidirectional rotating bezel, complete with a 60-minute count-up scale and a luminous pip at 12 o’clock. The coined edges of the bezel make it easy to operate for various timing needs. Positioned at 4 o'clock, the crown is flanked on both sides by two crown guards, a design that prevents it from uncomfortably digging into the wrist during wear. To enhance its robustness, the watch is equipped with mineral glass, effectively guarding against scratches and potential shattering. A solid caseback adds an extra layer of security to ensure the case remains securely sealed.
The Dial:
The dial is presented in blue with a concentric pattern, which adds an element of depth. It also features silver framed baton-style hour markers and a silver framed handset that has a luminous coating for enhanced nighttime visibility. The second hand is presented in a bright yellow tone, which also enhances the nighttime visibility. Additionally, a date display is positioned beside the 4 o'clock marker, while a 60-second track encircles the chapter ring.
The Bracelet:
The watch is complemented by a 3-link oyster-style stainless steel bracelet. The outer links have been treated to a brushed finish, while the inner links have been brushed. It fastens through the use of a fold-over push-button deployment clasp.
The Functions:
The timepiece is driven by precision and reliability, thanks to its quartz mechanisms. It also boasts a water resistance rating of 100 meters, making it suitable for swimming or snorkeling while wearing the watch, although it's not intended for diving purposes.
