This Victorinox Alliance Sport Chronograph Tachymeter Black Genuine Rubber Strap Mens Watch 241818 44mm is the silent yet deadly type. A stealthy grey dial is complimented by night vision like green indexes and silver stainless steel hands, powered by a quartz movement. The minute indexes resemble that of a closed Swiss army knife, drawing from Victorinox's rich heritage. At the 12 o'clock position is the ever present Victorinox logo with three subdials at each 3 hour interval. At the 3 o'clock position is a subdial used to display the seconds, with the other two dials used to measure time, known as chronographs. Inbetween the 4 and 5 o'clock position is a simplistic date window. The dial is protected by triple coated sapphire crystal glass and a stainless steel case. Ontop of the case is a blue tachymeter which can be used to measure speed and distance. Finally, a black genuine rubber strap can be fastened using a double locking safety clasp.
This watch has a water resistance of 100 metres, making it suitable for swimming and snorkeling.

The union is founded with the company supplying soldiers knives, which would later be famously known as the Swiss army knife. Following the death of his mother the brand became known as Victorinox, combining his mothers name and the word 'inox', an abbreviation for the French word inoxydable or stainless. In 1989 the brand first launched its first watch collection produced in Biel, Switzerland. Today, the brand is built upon four key values; quality, functionality, innovation & iconic design.
