Firstly, a small blue dial is complimented by Arabic indexes and hands of which are powered by a quartz movement. Starting from 12, at each three hour interval is marked with quarter past, half past & quarter to to help children establish the time. Furthermore, the dial is split into pink and purple around the edge to easily differentiate between past and to.
