The Case
Proudly sitting with a modern 44mm case and relatively thin 10mm case height, this attractive watch is the perfect dimensions for today’s wearer. The stainless steel case ensures maximum durability and is perfect for daily use. On the outside of the case sits large pushers for easy operation of the chronograph. This Sekonda 1772 features a mineral glass to protect the dial.
The Dial
The Sekonda 1772 has a timeless design thanks to its black sunburst dial with familiar chronograph layout. The subdials are a dark sunburst grey providing just enough contrast to the black dial. They display the elapsed minutes and hours from the chronograph function as well as a useful 24 hour dial. The long and narrow white hour markers and handset, ensure a clean and legible dial. The seconds hand has a red tip providing just enough pop to the otherwise subdued black, grey and white dial. On the outside of the dial, sits a white tachymeter scale providing a familiar sporty design and feel.
The Bracelet
Being a sports watch, the Sekonda 1772 is offered on a stainless steel bracelet. The 7 links staggered design does a beautiful job of playing with the light. It adds a real sense of elegance to an otherwise sporty design. Secured by a reliable push clasp, the watch will sit securely on its owner’s wrist.
The Functions
At this price point, the Sekonda 1772, presents a lot of value by offering a chronograph funciton and 24 hour display. It is powered by a quartz movement ensuring accuracy and approximately a 2 year battery life. With 50m of water resistance, this watch can be worn day to day without worry.
