Background:

Firstly, this Seiko Presage SPB115J1 has been inspired by modern Japanese design. One of the great pioneers of modern design is Riki Watanabe, who’s style has been the influence behind this watch. Often called the “Charles Eames of Japan,” he became particularly well known for creating beautiful furniture from inexpensive materials in the years following World War II. His clock and watch designs produced later in his career, many of them for Seiko, became iconic.

The Case:

The silver stainless steel case radiates class through its minimalistic, polished design. It has a profound push/pull crown besides the 3 o'clock marker. The Dial:

This watch uses an enamel dial in a traditional stark white colour. Enamel dials are very difficult to make and the high tolerance around their craft means that it is a very arduous process. The process involves the dial being fired at high temperatures, and baking multiple layers of glass powder atop silver or copper.
