The Case:
An uncompromising and comprehensive multisport watch with a range of extensive features which will allow the wearer to maximise their outdoors and sporting performances. The case of the Polar Vantage V2 90082710 has been especially designed with the wearer in mind, it is crafted from a high-strength DLC coated aluminium case allowing for a lightweight and slim design that looks good and feels good. It measures in at 47mm in diameter and 13mm in depth, which allows the watch to sit comfortably on the wrist. This model weighs just 52g, which gives it an unquestionable running watch feel.
Five neatly positioned buttons have been placed around the side of the watch, allowing for a clean and easily accessible operating system which allows the wearer to fully maximise the potential of this digital timepiece.
The case has a laminated Gorilla glass lens that protects the always-on colour touch display. The Gorilla glass lens has an anti-fingerprint coating which allows for an uncompromising clear and readable display. The dial is encased by a forged silver stainless steel bezel.
The Dial:
The Vantage V2 dial consists of an uncluttered layout that is presented within a low-profile border and a black bezel that is subtle and sophisticated. The dial measures 1.2 inches in diameter, the electronic colourised display is touchscreen which allows the wearer to easily operate it when out performing. Each of the watch’s extensive features can be easily accessed and displayed upon the digital dial depending upon the wearer’s personal desires. A 240 x 240 pixel resolution display means that visibility is never at risk, the ambient light sensor also allows the brightness of the dial to automatically adjust to the brightness of the outdoors conditions.
The Strap:
The black strap of the Polar Vantage V2 90082710 is made from highly durable black silicone with a standard buckle closure for ultimate security on the wrist. The silicone strap offers durability and comfort, which are both essential features of a high-performance outdoors and sporting watch. The black hue of the strap bolsters the watch’s clean and minimal aesthetics. The straps are interchangeable and attach directly onto the watch without any lugs comprising its streamline appearance.
The Function:
The Polar Vantage V2 offers a wide range of impressive features which make it a superlative outdoors multi sports watch, supporting 130 different sports. The watch includes a number of specific training features in order to enhance your performance levels. For example, it consists of a built in GPS and a route guidance and planning feature so that you never find yourself straying away from the beaten path. As well as a Fit Spark training guide which ensures that you are prepared for each day. Amongst many more specialist features and functionalities, this watch offers a battery life up to 40 hours in training mode (GPS and wrist-based heart rate) or up to 7 days in standard watch mode. It is waterproof up to 100 metres and it has been tested against military standards providing it with an operating temperature: from -10° to 50°C.
