The Case:
Measuring in at 40mm in width and being crafted from solid stainless steel this Ball Aero GMT II is a handsome timepiece. A green and black bidirectional rotating ceramic bezel sits on top of the case providing the watch its aesthetic appeal. At the 3 o’clock marker there is a screw down crown with a distinctive crown guard that protects the screw down crown. The dome-shaped anti-reflective sapphire crystal ensures maximum protection and legibility of the dial.
The Dial:
The clean black gradient dial features a 24-hour Arabic numeral scale forms the inner dial, while a track of baton-style indices surround it on the outside. A date window replaces the 3 o’clock marker. A chapter ring at the edge of the dial consists of a 12-hour scale, while also providing depth. The dial also features 43 micro gas tubes on hour, minute, second time zone hands, dial and bezel for night reading capability. Three time zones can also be indicated through the four hands in the handset.
The Bracelet:
The tapered stainless steel bracelet consists of H-style links. The contrasting brushed and polished surfaces draw attention to the wrist. It features a diver’s extension to allow it to fit over a wetsuit, it fastens using a standard buckle.
The Functions
This GMT-style watch is powered by Automatic calibre BALL RR1201-C. It is water resistant to 100 metres and has an astounding shock resistance of 7,500Gs.
