The Case:
The Victorinox Maverick 241689 is the perfect blend of elegance and function. The 43mm case is crafted from high-grade Swiss made stainless steel. Whilst the blue PVD coated stainless steel unidirectional bezel is as alluring as it is practical. The edge of the bezel is knurled, which allows the wearer to easily rotate it. A lume pip is present at the 12 o’clock mark on the bezel, whilst second increments form a track around the rest of the bezel. An embossed screw down crown is also positioned besides the 3 o’clock mark, it is protected by a crown guard. Triple coated anti reflective sapphire crystal glass that protects the dial against sun and water damage.
The Dial:
The deep marine blue dial is particularly attractive, as it incorporates the silver and blue colour scheme of the case, which helps to provide this timepiece with its concise and well formed appearance. Victorinox have channeled contemporary trends into the design of the dial, as reflected by the addition of the well chiseled luminescent treated hands and applied markers. The dial is multi tonal, as it makes use of a two step dial design. Three chronographs take center stage which combined allow you to measure the time separately, similar to a stopwatch. Additionally, a easy to read date window can be seen at the 6 o’clock position. The Victorinox logo replaces the 12 o’clock mark.
The Strap:
Furthermore, the silver steel bracelet is one of the standout features belonging to this watch. The oyster style supplies the watch with its luxurious appearance. However, it is not just aesthetically pleasing, as the bracelet is highly durable. But what stands out most is the way the Maverick remains so effortlessly elegant in every situation. It fastens easily using a fold over clasp.
The Functions:
Swiss made quartz movement powers the watch, it is positioned within a solid case back. This timepiece is water resistant up to 100 metres, so that it is suitable for snorkelling.
