The Engineer III Snoopy Flying Ace brings Snoopy's aviation-themed persona into BALL's mechanical watch collection. The black dial provides a contrasting backdrop for the luminous display, while a three-dimensional Snoopy Flying Ace design occupies the recessed subsidiary seconds register at 6 o'clock. Woodstock appears at the tip of the seconds hand, completing the Peanuts-inspired theme. The bronze case develops its own patina over time, adding to the individual character of the watch.
Black Dial with Snoopy Flying Ace Design
The black dial features an analogue display with hours, minutes, subsidiary seconds and a magnified date window. Fourteen self-powered micro gas tubes positioned on the hands and dial provide illumination for reading the time in low-light conditions. Snoopy appears in a three-dimensional display at 6 o'clock, with white Super-LumiNova highlighting the character. Applied luminous hour markers and sword-shaped hands complete the display.
Automatic BALL RR1105 Movement
The BALL RR1105 automatic calibre powers the hours, minutes, subsidiary seconds and date functions, with a power reserve of approximately 42 hours. The movement provides shock resistance rated to 5,000 Gs and anti-magnetic protection of 4,800 A/m. These technical features combine mechanical timekeeping with resistance to external influences encountered during everyday wear.
Bronze Case and Brown Calf Leather Strap
The 43mm round case is crafted from brushed bronze and measures 13.5mm in height, with an approximate lug-to-lug length of 50mm and a lug width of 21mm. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial, while the screwed-in crown and transparent case back complete the construction. Water resistance is rated at 100 metres. The brown calf leather strap fastens with a pin buckle, complementing the bronze case and black dial.
