The BALL Engineer III Army NM9028C-S49C-YE features a 43mm 904L stainless steel case measuring 13.6mm in height. The yellow dial provides the backdrop for hours, minutes and sweep seconds, with a magnified date adding a practical calendar function. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial, while the screwed-in crown forms part of the case construction. At approximately 190g, the watch is paired with a 904L stainless steel bracelet secured by a folding buckle.
BALL Army Series
The Engineer III Army is part of BALL Watch’s Army Series and is produced as a limited edition of 1,775 pieces. The series is officially licensed by the United States Army and combines the collection’s military association with BALL’s mechanical watchmaking and protective technologies. The NM9028C-S49C-YE represents the yellow-dial configuration of the 43mm 904L stainless steel version, bringing together a COSC-certified automatic movement, specialised illumination and resistance-focused features.
Micro Gas Tube Illumination
The yellow dial incorporates 51 micro gas tubes positioned on the dial and the hour, minute and second hands for night reading capability. This self-powered illumination allows the time and illuminated dial details to remain visible in dark conditions without requiring the tubes to be charged by an external light source. The anti-reflective sapphire crystal further supports clear viewing of the dial by reducing reflections across its surface.
COSC-Certified Automatic Movement
The watch is powered by the automatic BALL RR1103-C calibre, which is chronometer certified by COSC. It provides hours, minutes, sweep seconds and a magnified date. BALL’s SpringLOCK® patented hairspring anti-shock system helps protect the movement against shocks, while the watch has a shock resistance rating of up to 5,000 G. Anti-magnetic protection is rated to 1,000 Gauss, equivalent to 80,000 A/m.
904L Stainless Steel
The 904L stainless steel case and bracelet provide a consistent metal construction, with the bracelet measuring 21mm at the lugs and secured by a folding buckle. The case has a lug-to-lug measurement of approximately 50mm and incorporates a screwed-in crown. Water resistance is rated to 100 metres (330 feet), adding to the watch’s protective specification. The combination of the yellow dial, COSC-certified automatic movement, 51 micro gas tubes, SpringLOCK® system and anti-magnetic protection completes the Engineer III Army NM9028C-S49C-YE.

UK orders placed before 4pm Monday–Friday are dispatched the same day. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday are dispatched on the following working day.

For DAP shipments, if local import charges, taxes, duties or courier fees are not paid, or if delivery is refused, the parcel may be returned to us.
In this case, we will refund your order minus:

- Any customs, duty, tax or clearance fees billed to us by the courier
