Five Fresh Orient x WatchNation UK Exclusives Have Landed
Written by: Ryan, WatchNation
Orient’s Spring/Summer 2026 lineup is all about sharpening the hits with cleaner dials, dial colours that feel a little bolder, and the kind of specs that still make you double-take at the price. WatchNation is bringing a handful of models you won’t find through any other UK authorised Orient retailer.
The line-up covers the brand’s core territory neatly: two Bambinos, two Strettos and a Mako 40. Some are simple dial-led variations. Others feel more significant. Most notably, one of the new Bambinos introduces the brand-new F6524, a fresh automatic movement for one of Orient’s most reliable entry points.
Bambino “No Date” Brown Dial 38mm
The Bambino is one of those watches that’s become a default recommendation for a reason, it nails the dress-watch brief without trying too hard. The new size and omission of the date window gives the dial a cleaner, more symmetrical look, while the warm brown sunburst finish lends it a slightly more vintage character than the standard office-watch formula.
Importantly, this model is powered by the new in-house F6524. That matters. On paper, the essentials remain familiar, automatic winding, hacking seconds, hand-winding and around 40 hours of power reserve, but as a brand-new movement, it gives this release a stronger story than a simple colour and size update. It feels really... new.

What I like: Removing the date window is a small change that makes the dial feel finished but in a different way. If I wanted to wear the Bambino, but wished it was a little calmer, this would be the one.

Stretto 41.5mm Sun & Moon Limited Release
If the 'no-date' Bambino is the quietest watch here, the Stretto Sun & Moon is the most expressive. The Stretto line already leans more modern and architectural than Orient’s classical dress offerings, and the Sun & Moon display gives it an added sense of movement and theatre.
The multi-colour sunburst treatment pushes it further into statement-piece territory, but it avoids looking novelty-driven. That is the balance this watch gets right. It is playful, certainly, though still structured enough to feel intentional rather than decorative for its own sake.

What I like: Complications can feel busy. Here, the colour and layout make it feel intentional, like Orient decided to have fun, but brought graph paper. Also, can't wait to see someone wear it on an orange rubber strap.

Limited Edition Stretto Date 38.5mm Seasonal Blue Gradient Dial (2300 Pieces)
This is arguably the easiest watch in the exclusive collection to recommend broadly. At 38.5mm, the Stretto Date lands in a very wearable sweet spot, and the blue gradient metallic dial gives it enough personality to stand apart without pushing too hard. This one relies on proportion, colour and daily practicality.
The fact that it is also limited to 2,300 pieces globally gives it a little more edge than a standard seasonal variation, without changing the core of what makes it attractive in the first place. It's not the loudest, not the most novel, but possibly the one that fits most naturally into everyday life.

What I like: it hits that sweet spot between “smart”, "fun" and “not precious.” The kind of watch you can genuinely wear Monday to Sunday.

Mako 40 Navy Gradient Dial
The most straightforwardly versatile watch in the set is the Mako 40. At 39.9mm (yes, not exactly 40), it lands in the increasingly popular sweet spot for compact dive watches: large enough to retain real presence, but small enough to wear easily every day.
Orient’s Mako line has always represented the brand’s practical, tool-watch side, and this version reinforces that formula with a navy gradient dial, unidirectional bezel, screw-down crown and 200 metres of water resistance.
In other words, this is not simply a sports-styled watch. It has the core credentials buyers expect from a true entry-level diver, while the size keeps it from feeling overbuilt for daily use.

What I like: if I wanted one watch from this release that leans most to “do everything,” this is it. Personally, I don't think it wears like a 40, which works for my wrist.

Bambino Light Blue Gradient Vintage Style Dial 40.5mm
This 40.5mm model is more openly dial-led. The light blue gradient finish gives the watch a fresher, more contemporary tone, but the familiar Bambino ingredients remain intact: domed crystal, classic dress-watch proportions and a softly vintage-leaning silhouette.
The result is a variation that feels seasonal without becoming disposable. That matters with colour-driven releases. A bright or unusual dial can draw attention quickly, but the better ones still look grounded in the identity of the watch itself. This one does.
If you like the Bambino platform but want something less traditional than white, cream or black, this is the most immediately appealing alternative in the set.

What I like: It’s still a Bambino, domed crystal, classic proportions, but the dial colour makes it feel like a “new watch” rather than another variation on the theme.

The bigger picture
Taken together, these five exclusives show Orient doing what it does best: refreshing established models without losing sight of value or mechanical credibility. There is enough variety here to cover different tastes, from dress watches to a true desk-diver all-rounder, but in my opinion, the collection’s most important development is the introduction of the new F6524 in the 38mm no-date Bambino.
That watch would already have been one of the most intriguing releases in the line-up on design alone. Giving it a brand-new movement makes it the most significant watch here, and the clearest sign that this is more than a simple seasonal colour exercise. Can you tell which one is my favourite?
