The Orient World Map RA-AA0E03L39B is a men's automatic watch from the Revival collection, combining vintage-inspired styling with practical everyday functionality. Its blue dial features a world map motif, complemented by a polished stainless steel case measuring 43.5mm in diameter and 13.9mm in thickness. A domed mineral crystal protects the dial, while the stainless steel bracelet completes the watch's retro-inspired appearance. With day and date displays and water resistance rated at 200 metres, this model brings together distinctive heritage design and functional specifications.
1969 Heritage with a World Map Dial
The World Map collection takes inspiration from Orient's original World Diver, first released in 1969. Its defining feature is the world map illustration across the blue dial, paired with an inner rotating bezel and a fluted outer bezel. The inner bezel can be rotated using the crown at the four o'clock position to help estimate the time in another time zone. A polished cushion-shaped case reinforces the vintage styling, while the day and date displays provide useful calendar information. The design retains the character of the original model while incorporating updated specifications.
In-House Automatic Movement
Powering the Orient World Map is the in-house F6922 automatic movement, which also supports manual winding. It features 22 jewels and offers an approximate 40-hour power reserve when fully wound. The hacking seconds function stops the seconds hand when the crown is pulled out, allowing the time to be set more precisely. With automatic winding and manual winding capability, the movement combines traditional mechanical watchmaking with practical timekeeping functions.
Stainless Steel Construction and 200-Metre Water Resistance
The polished stainless steel case is paired with a stainless steel bracelet made from SUS316L steel, with a 20mm width. A domed mineral crystal follows the contours of the dial, complementing the watch's vintage-inspired profile. The inner rotating bezel adds a practical time-zone reference, while the day and date displays support everyday use. Water resistance is rated at 200 metres, completing a watch that combines Orient's heritage-inspired design with substantial water resistance.
