Grey Market Retailers

There is an old adage that states – if something is too good to be true, it usually is.

This is something that is very applicable to the watch industry, due to an influx of what are commonly referred to as Grey Market Sellers.

The following active online sellers are considered by WatchNation to be Grey Market Sellers and are not recognised by Hamilton:

JomaShop

CreationWatches

City Watches UK

WatchesZon

Best Quality Watches

E-Global Central

WatchNation will not price match against any Grey Market Seller.

Hamilton Manufacturer Warranty

Enjoy peace of mind knowing your Hamilton watch is covered by a valid manufacturer warranty. This warranty ensures repairs and replacements are covered according to Hamilton’s policy, guaranteeing a higher level of protection for your investment. Hamilton manufacturer warranties typically cover defects in materials and workmanship for a 2-year period after purchase. This means that if your watch malfunctions due to a manufacturing defect within two years, Hamilton will repair or replace it free of charge.

Risks of Grey Market Sellers

Grey market sellers often provide limited or third-party warranties that may not offer the same comprehensive coverage as a Hamilton manufacturer’s warranty. Here’s why you should be cautious:

Limited Coverage: Third-party warranties may only cover certain components of your Hamilton watch, or they may have exclusions for specific types of damage (e.g., water damage, accidental drops).

Authorisation Issues: Repairs under a third-party warranty may not be authorised by Hamilton, potentially voiding the manufacturer’s warranty altogether. This could leave you responsible for repair costs.

Customer Service Challenges: Getting repairs or replacements under a third-party warranty can be a hassle, especially if the warranty company is located in a different country. Dealing directly with Hamilton ensures a smoother process.

Benefits of Buying from WatchNation

WatchNation, as an authorised Hamilton retailer, provides exceptional customer service, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience should you require any assistance with your Hamilton watch. Since WatchNation is authorised by Hamilton, any repairs or replacements under the warranty will be handled efficiently and directly with Hamilton, minimising delays and complications.
