Built entirely in black stainless steel with a matching chronograph dial and bracelet, the watch combines a modern monochrome look with more functional everyday specifications, giving it a noticeably more capable and technical feel while still keeping the clean Armani styling throughout.
The watch is built around a 43mm black stainless steel case with a solid 13mm profile that gives it a confident wrist presence without feeling excessively oversized. The darker finish gives the AR11784 a sharper and more contemporary appearance than a traditional silver-tone sports watch, while the combination of brushed and polished surfaces helps add depth across the case and bracelet.
One of the strongest details of the AR11784 is its black sunray chronograph dial. Under different lighting conditions, the dial shifts subtly in tone, adding texture and depth while still maintaining a clean and balanced overall layout. The chronograph sub-dials give the watch a more technical and sporty character, while the date window positioned between 4 and 5 o’clock keeps the display practical for everyday wear.

Inside, the AR11784 runs on a Seiko VR42 solar-powered quartz chronograph movement. Once fully charged, the movement can operate for approximately six months, making it far more convenient for long-term daily wear. Alongside standard timekeeping, the movement supports chronograph stopwatch functions and a 24-hour display sub-dial while still maintaining reliable quartz accuracy.
The black stainless steel bracelet integrates smoothly into the case and uses a deployment clasp with push-button safety, helping maintain the cleaner integrated look of the watch while keeping it secure and comfortable throughout the day. The 22mm bracelet width also helps balance the larger 43mm case proportions.
The AR11784 is protected by mineral crystal and offers 100 metres / 10 ATM water resistance, making it suitable for swimming and more active daily use. Compared to many fashion-focused chronographs, the stronger water resistance, rotating bezel, and solar movement give this model a noticeably more robust and functional feel.
