The Aquastar Airstar Chronograph is a modern revival of one of the rarest and most distinctive models in the brand’s history. Originally introduced in 1964, the Airstar represented a departure from Aquastar’s traditional diving instruments, combining aviation-inspired functionality with the robust construction and water resistance that had become synonymous with the brand. This contemporary re-edition faithfully captures the spirit of the original while incorporating modern materials, enhanced durability and reliable Swiss chronograph engineering. Produced as a Limited Edition of just 300 pieces, the Airstar is a highly collectible tribute to a rarely seen classic.
Crafted from black DLC-coated 316L stainless steel, the watch features a compact 39mm case with a 49mm lug-to-lug measurement, delivering excellent wrist presence while remaining remarkably wearable. The case is paired with a highly domed sapphire crystal with triple anti-reflective coating, preserving the vintage aesthetic while ensuring exceptional clarity and durability. A unidirectional 60-minute bezel and screw-down crown further reinforce the watch’s sporting credentials and contribute to its impressive 200-metre water resistance rating.
The semi-gloss black dial is designed for outstanding legibility, featuring contrasting white markings and high-density ecru Super-LumiNova on the hands and hour markers. The clean two-register chronograph layout offers a balanced and highly functional display, while the tachymeter scale pays homage to the original Airstar’s aviation-inspired design. Vintage-style syringe hands and the historic Airstar signature complete the watch’s distinctive appearance, creating a compelling blend of heritage and modernity.
Powering the watch is the Swiss-made Valjoux 7753 automatic chronograph movement. Renowned for its reliability and serviceability, this proven calibre operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and delivers a power reserve of approximately 48 hours. Featuring chronograph timing, running seconds and manual winding capability, it provides the precision and robustness expected from a professional-grade sports chronograph.
Completing the watch is a genuine black Tropic® rubber strap, a fitting choice for a timepiece inspired by the golden era of adventure watches. Comfortable, lightweight and highly durable, the Tropic® strap enhances the Airstar’s vintage character while providing exceptional practicality for everyday wear. An additional black seatbelt-style nylon strap is also included, offering added versatility straight out of the box.

UK orders placed before 4pm Monday–Friday are dispatched the same day. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday are dispatched on the following working day.

- Any customs, duty, tax or clearance fees billed to us by the courier
