The BALL Engineer III Snoopy Flying Ace NL9616C-L12J-BE combines Swiss mechanical watchmaking with design inspired by the Peanuts character Snoopy. This limited-edition men's watch features a 36mm 904L stainless steel case, a blue dial and a brown calf leather strap secured with a pin buckle. The analogue display incorporates hours, minutes, subsidiary seconds and a magnified date window. Powered by the automatic BALL RR1105 calibre, the watch offers a power reserve of approximately 42 hours, shock resistance rated to 5,000 Gs and water resistance to 100 metres. Production is limited to 250 pieces worldwide.
The Engineer III Snoopy Flying Ace brings Snoopy's aviation-themed persona into BALL's mechanical watch collection. The blue dial provides the backdrop for the luminous display, while the three-dimensional Flying Ace sub-dial features Snoopy piloting his doghouse-inspired aircraft, with Woodstock positioned at the tip of the seconds hand. A transparent case back reveals the movement and carries the Peanuts-inspired theme through to the rear of the watch.
Blue Dial with Snoopy Flying Ace Design
The blue dial features an analogue time display with subsidiary seconds and a magnified date window. Thirteen self-powered micro gas tubes positioned on the hands and dial provide illumination for reading the time in low-light conditions. Snoopy appears on the recessed sub-dial at 6 o’clock, with white Super-LumiNova highlighting the character, while Woodstock accompanies the seconds hand.
Automatic BALL RR1105 Movement
The BALL RR1105 automatic calibre powers the hours, minutes, subsidiary seconds and date functions, with a power reserve of approximately 42 hours. The watch offers shock resistance rated to 5,000 Gs and anti-magnetic protection of 4,800 A/m. These features support the movement's operation in everyday conditions, while the automatic mechanism winds through the natural movement of the wearer's wrist.
904L Stainless Steel Case and Brown Calf Leather Strap
The 36mm round case is crafted from 904L stainless steel and measures 11.5mm in height, with an approximate lug-to-lug measurement of 40mm. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial, while a transparent case back made from sapphire crystal and 904L stainless steel reveals the movement. The screwed-in crown and 100-metre water resistance complete the case specifications. A brown calf leather strap with a pin buckle complements the blue dial and stainless steel case.
