At the centre of this platinum ring sits a 0.92 carat oval-cut natural ruby, displaying a rich pinkish-red colour across its faceted surface. The gemstone is flanked by two trillion-cut natural diamonds, with one positioned on each side. Their triangular shapes create a symmetrical three-stone arrangement, contrasting with the ruby's rounded outline. The polished platinum band completes the design, keeping the coloured gemstone as the main feature.
The two trillion-cut natural diamonds have a combined weight of 0.21 carats and are graded I in colour and VVS2 in clarity. The I colour grade falls within the near-colourless range, while VVS2 indicates very, very slight inclusions that are difficult to detect under 10x magnification. Their angular facets produce bright reflections on either side of the ruby, while the oval centre stone displays a different pattern of light across its surface.
As July's birthstone, ruby makes this ring particularly relevant for July birthdays. Ruby is also traditionally associated with 40th wedding anniversaries, making it a meaningful choice for celebrating four decades of marriage. The three-stone arrangement also makes the ring suitable for engagements, significant anniversaries and milestone celebrations, with the combination of ruby and diamonds offering an alternative to a traditional diamond-only design.
When worn, the oval ruby sits lengthways along the finger, with the two trillion-cut diamonds extending towards the shoulders on either side. The polished platinum band curves around the sides and continues underneath the finger. The central gemstone arrangement gives the ring a decorative appearance without extending the setting along the band, making it suitable as a standalone piece for special occasions.
The ruby is secured by visible platinum claws, while the pointed ends of the adjoining diamonds face towards the outer shoulders. This positioning creates a gradual transition from the oval centre stone to the smooth band. Natural rubies can display variations in colour and internal characteristics, and the pinkish-red tones visible in this gemstone are complemented by the clear, angular appearance of the two side diamonds.

More about delivery...

cestria fine jewellery
Fine jewellery. exceptional value.
Created in Chester by the team behind WatchNation, CESTRIA was founded on a simple belief: beautiful fine jewellery shouldn't come with an unnecessary premium.
Through our direct relationships with specialist jewellery partners, we're able to offer carefully selected natural diamond and gemstone jewellery, beautifully crafted in gold and platinum, at exceptional value.
We'd rather put the value into the jewellery itself than the markup.
With independent AGI documentation on eligible pieces, premium presentation and genuine personal service, we believe the experience should be just as considered as the jewellery itself.

Understanding your stones
Diamond education
Diamond clarity
Every natural diamond has its own characteristics. Diamond clarity refers to the presence of tiny internal features, known as inclusions, and external imperfections, called blemishes.
Clarity is graded from Flawless (FL) through to Included (I3), based on how noticeable these characteristics are when examined under 10× magnification. Generally, the fewer and less visible the inclusions, the higher the clarity grade.
Many inclusions are difficult to see without magnification, meaning diamonds across different clarity grades can still appear beautifully clear to the naked eye.
Our guide illustrates the different clarity grades to help you better understand the diamonds used in CESTRIA jewellery. The specific clarity grade or range for each piece can be found in its product specifications and accompanying documentation, where available.
Gemstone guide
Gemstone details
Natural gemstones often contain tiny internal features known as inclusions, formed during their development deep within the Earth.
Far from always being imperfections, these characteristics can give rubies, sapphires and emeralds their individuality. They're particularly common in emeralds, where their intricate patterns are often referred to as jardin, meaning garden.
While the type and visibility of inclusions can influence a gemstone's quality and value, they are also part of what makes each natural stone distinctive. No two are quite alike.

Frequently Asked Questions
An AGI Diamond Identification Report is an independent assessment providing information about a diamond's key characteristics, including its carat weight, colour, clarity and cut.
Where included, this documentation gives you additional reassurance and a clearer understanding of the diamonds in your chosen jewellery. The exact reports supplied with each CESTRIA piece are detailed in its product information.
Eligible CESTRIA jewellery is supplied with an independent insurance valuation, providing an estimated replacement value for insurance purposes.
This documentation can be useful when arranging jewellery insurance and provides an additional record of your purchase. The insurance valuation is separate from the price you've paid and doesn't represent a guaranteed resale value.
Our collection features natural diamonds and precious gemstones, including rubies, sapphires, emeralds and opals.
Each piece is individually described, with details of the gemstones, precious metals and relevant characteristics provided in the product specifications.
Natural gemstones can display subtle variations in colour and inclusions, which contribute to their individual appearance. Any known treatments should be disclosed in the relevant product information.
We understand that getting the perfect fit is important, especially when choosing a ring for someone special.
Professional resizing is available for suitable designs, although this depends on the ring's setting, construction and the gemstones involved.
If you're unsure about sizing or would like a ring adjusted, please contact our team before ordering. We'll be happy to advise on the available options, any associated costs and expected timescales.
Every CESTRIA piece is carefully presented in a premium branded jewellery box, designed to make your purchase feel special from the moment it arrives.
Where applicable, your jewellery will also include its accompanying AGI identification documentation and insurance valuation.
Whether you're purchasing for yourself or choosing a gift, we want the presentation to reflect the quality of the jewellery inside.

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase.
Eligible jewellery can be returned in accordance with our returns policy. For a change-of-mind return, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. Jewellery should be returned carefully packaged, together with its original presentation box and accompanying documentation.
