This Seiko Astron GPS watch features Calibre 3X - the very latest Astron GPS Solar movement. In size, in energy efficiency and in signal reception, it demonstrates how far Seiko’s technology has come since the introduction of the first GPS Astron Solar watch. The case is less than 40mm in diameter thanks to the reduced GPP reception antenna that uses components distributed across a single plate. The watch maintains the same high level of reception performance and offering a power reserve of approximately six months. Conveniently solar-powered; the watch charges from both natural and electric light with no need for a battery replacement.

The Case:
Seiko Astron Watch SSJ012J1 GPS Solar Quartz Leather Strap Watch features a case that is made from stainless steel with a super hard coating that has been treated to a brushed finish. The case measures 39mm in diameter and 11mm in thickness. It exhibits a fixed blue bezel that is made from ceramic, which is a material that is favourably used by luxury watch brands due to its superlative scratch and shatter resistance. The case also consists: of a screw down crown at 3 o’clock, a screw case back, bevelled lugs and sapphire crystal glass with a super-clear coating.
The Dial:
The dial is presented in a deep blue hue with silver accents. Applied silver baton-style hour markers are interspersed by a 60-minute track which is located on the dial’s chapter ring. In the centre of the dial there is an arrow/sword style handset which has a silver frame with a luminescent filling, which enables nighttime readability. A date-display window is located beside the 3 o’clock marker, whilst the Seiko logo is presented in silver beneath the 12 o’clock marker.
The Strap:
The black strap is made out of soft leather, which has a subtle textured appearance. The strap fastens through the use of a three-fold deployment clasp.
The Functions:
This timepiece is powered by caliber 3X22 GPS solar quartz which provides this watch with an accuracy of +/- 15 seconds per month. It is water resistant up to 100 meters, which means that it can be worn when snorkelling.

UK orders placed before 4pm Monday–Friday are dispatched the same day. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday are dispatched on the following working day.

When your order reaches your country, local customs authorities may apply additional charges, including:

If Import Charges Are Not Paid
For DAP shipments, if local import charges, taxes, duties or courier fees are not paid, or if delivery is refused, the parcel may be returned to us.
In this case, we will refund your order minus:
- The original outbound shipping cost
- Any return shipping fees charged to us
- Any customs, duty, tax or clearance fees billed to us by the courier
