James Bond Q Watch With 007 Prestige Stamp Set 2020 Limited Edition SS07Z100
Features a Brilliant Uncirculated £5 coin and the full set of James Bond Special Stamps. Bond’s legendary Lotus Esprit is depicted on the specially commissioned coin. A special postmark features the location of Blofield, Norwich – a pun referencing one of Bond’s most infamous foes. The envelope cover design is based on the opening titles of Dr No – Bond’s first movie mission. Inside you’ll discover the stories behind the film franchise’s memorable title sequences. A limited edition of 15,000.
Suttirat Anne Larlarb, who is the costume designer for the upcoming Bond release ‘No Time To Die’ (featuring Daniel Craig), was the designer behind the James Bond Q Watch SS07Z100. It pays homage to ’s favourite character, Q, who supplies Bond with his famous gadgets in the film series. The style of the watch reflects Q’s personality and style.
The Case and Strap:
It is based on the Skin Irony collection, which is ’s most futuristic, thinnest and toughest designs yet. The case of the watch is just 6.7mm thick and 42mm wide, it is made of stainless steel and it has a matte finish. The intent of the watch was to incorporate ‘timeless tradition and futuristic innovation’. The featuring of a tartan plaid leather brown strap illustrates ’s commitment to the timeless tradition of Bond. Desmond Llewyn (who played Q seventeen times) often wore a tartan shirt in his portrayal as Q. The strap fastens using a standard metal buckle.
The Dial:
Futuristic innovation is transmitted through the slick aluminium, ring shaped design of the dial. It features triangular shaped blue indices, with the logo at 12 and a ‘Q’ at 6. The inclusion of ‘Q’ on the dial is the only thing that sets the watch apart from the one that Ben Whishaw will wear in ‘No Time To Die’. The sloping rehaut (inner bezel ring) is finished in a sleek matte red, this is similar to the two hands that are finished in a deep red, which complements the red trim of the tartan leather strap.
The most alluring design feature is the exhibition window, made of mineral glass, that allows the wearer to view the inner mechanisms of the watch. This is a great allusion to the gadgety that serves as an inspiration for this watch. The coil and the circuit board is visible. This provides a great insight into ’s famous quartz movement, made for by ETA. It features a battery which is external to the case, allowing for quick and easy battery change.
This James Bond Q Watch SS07Z100 has a water resistance of 30 metres.

The Family: James Bond Inspired
In order to commemorate the upcoming release of the 25th James Bond film, ‘No Time To Die’, have released a seven piece collection that captures the spirit of iconic 007 imagery. Six of the models are inspired by the movie posters and opening sequences from: Dr.No (1962), On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969), Moonraker (1979), Licence To Kill (1989), The World Is Not Enough (1999) and Casino Royale (2006). They each come packaged in a retro VHS styled box.
The seventh piece and latest addition to collection was the Q watch. It is limited to just 7007 pieces and it is a a tribute to ’s favourite character, Q. This model will be worn by Q in the film and it is a timeless mix of tradition with a penchant for futuristic innovation. Just like the man himself.
The Brand:
Founded in 1983, was a direct response to the ‘watch crisis’ . The ’watch crisis’ began in 1970’s due to the increase in production of cheap, mass-produced quartz watches from the Far East. Swiss exports were falling. In the space of just a few years, the number of persons employed in the Swiss watchmaking industry fell to less than 40,000. Despite this the Swiss watchmaking industry remained focused on supplying the watch market with traditional movements paired with proven sale methods.
The name derives from the idea that it was seen as being a ‘second watch’. The average owner uses their collection as an emotional statement to suit whatever mood they were in. Their watches soon became primarily used as a ‘fashion accessory’ rather than a device to tell the time. The slogan ‘fashion that ticks' summarises this ideology best.
has always immersed itself in popular culture. Doing so through collaborations and sponsorship of special events, creating limited products with high demand. The brand is well aware of its collectable value, as they established the “ Collectors of ” club that had 74,500 members in less than two years.
