cestria fine jewellery

Fine jewellery. exceptional value.

Created in Chester by the team behind WatchNation, CESTRIA was founded on a simple belief: beautiful fine jewellery shouldn't come with an unnecessary premium.

Through our direct relationships with specialist jewellery partners, we're able to offer carefully selected natural diamond and gemstone jewellery, beautifully crafted in gold and platinum, at exceptional value.

We'd rather put the value into the jewellery itself than the markup.

With independent AGI documentation on eligible pieces, premium presentation and genuine personal service, we believe the experience should be just as considered as the jewellery itself.

Diamond clarity

Every natural diamond has its own characteristics. Diamond clarity refers to the presence of tiny internal features, known as inclusions, and external imperfections, called blemishes.

Clarity is graded from Flawless (FL) through to Included (I3), based on how noticeable these characteristics are when examined under 10× magnification. Generally, the fewer and less visible the inclusions, the higher the clarity grade.

Many inclusions are difficult to see without magnification, meaning diamonds across different clarity grades can still appear beautifully clear to the naked eye.

Our guide illustrates the different clarity grades to help you better understand the diamonds used in CESTRIA jewellery. The specific clarity grade or range for each piece can be found in its product specifications and accompanying documentation, where available.

Gemstone details

Natural gemstones often contain tiny internal features known as inclusions, formed during their development deep within the Earth.

Far from always being imperfections, these characteristics can give rubies, sapphires and emeralds their individuality. They're particularly common in emeralds, where their intricate patterns are often referred to as jardin, meaning garden.

While the type and visibility of inclusions can influence a gemstone's quality and value, they are also part of what makes each natural stone distinctive. No two are quite alike.
