Inspired by the RAF's No. 1 Squadron and the courageous Arthur "Taffy" Clowes, the AV-4097-01 Hawker Hurricane Clowes Automatic Wittering has been designed as a commanding, pronounced pilot's watch to honour their incredible accomplishments during WWII.
The Case
The AVI-8 Hawker Hurricane AV-4097-01 is presented in a 46mm brushed stainless steel case. It exhibits a push down crown at 3 o’clock. The etched stainless steel caseback fastens as a screwdown.
The Dial
The AV-4097-01 textured dial features bold colours and graphics to mimic the Hawker Hurricane fighter planes motif. At 6 o'clock you will find a date display parallel to the AVI-8 logo. The hands and markers illuminate with the use of Luminova.
The Strap
This AVI- Hawker Hurricane mens watch is fixed with a brown calf leather strap which fastens with a pin buckle.

UK orders placed before 4pm Monday–Friday are dispatched the same day. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday are dispatched on the following working day.
We are not open during UK bank holidays. Orders received on bank holidays will be dispatched promptly the next working day.

When your order reaches your country, local customs authorities may apply additional charges, including:

If Import Charges Are Not Paid
For DAP shipments, if local import charges, taxes, duties or courier fees are not paid, or if delivery is refused, the parcel may be returned to us.
In this case, we will refund your order minus:
- The original outbound shipping cost
- Any return shipping fees charged to us
- Any customs, duty, tax or clearance fees billed to us by the courier
