The BALL Engineer III Army NM9028C-S49C-BK features a 43mm case made from 904L stainless steel, with a height of 13.6mm and an approximate weight of 190g. The black dial presents hours, minutes and sweep seconds, together with a magnified date display. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal covers the dial, while the screwed-in crown complements the case design.
BALL Army Series
The Engineer III Army forms part of BALL Watch’s Army Series and is produced as a limited edition of 1,775 pieces. The collection brings together automatic mechanical timekeeping with features designed to support legibility and resistance to shocks and magnetic fields. The black-dial NM9028C-S49C-BK represents the 43mm version, combining its military-inspired design with BALL’s specialised technical systems.
Micro Gas Tube Illumination
The watch uses 51 micro gas tubes positioned on the dial and on the hour, minute and second hands for night reading capability. The illumination allows the time and selected dial details to remain visible in dark conditions. An anti-reflective treatment on the sapphire crystal helps minimise reflections, providing a clearer view of the black dial and its illuminated elements.
COSC-Certified Automatic Movement
The NM9028C-S49C-BK is powered by the automatic BALL RR1103-C calibre, which is chronometer certified by COSC. The movement provides hours, minutes, sweep seconds and a magnified date. BALL’s SpringLOCK® patented hairspring anti-shock system helps protect the movement against shocks, with the watch rated to withstand impacts of up to 5,000 G. Anti-magnetic protection is rated to 1,000 Gauss, equivalent to 80,000 A/m.
904L Stainless Steel Bracelet
The 904L stainless steel bracelet matches the case and is secured with a folding buckle. The bracelet connects through 21mm lugs, while the case measures approximately 50mm from lug to lug. The screwed-in crown and 100-metre (330-foot) water resistance add to the watch’s protective specification. Together with the sapphire crystal, micro gas tube illumination, COSC-certified automatic movement, SpringLOCK® system and anti-magnetic protection, these features define the Engineer III Army NM9028C-S49C-BK.

UK orders placed before 4pm Monday–Friday are dispatched the same day. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday are dispatched on the following working day.

For DAP shipments, if local import charges, taxes, duties or courier fees are not paid, or if delivery is refused, the parcel may be returned to us.
In this case, we will refund your order minus:

- Any return shipping fees charged to us
- Any customs, duty, tax or clearance fees billed to us by the courier
