The BALL Engineer III Army NM3000C-S11C-YE features a 40mm stainless steel case with a height of 13.6mm and a yellow dial. The analogue layout displays hours, minutes and sweep seconds, with a magnified date providing an additional calendar function. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal covers the dial, while the screwed-in crown forms part of the case construction. Weighing approximately 190g, the watch is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet secured by a folding buckle.
BALL Army Series
The Engineer III Army is part of BALL Watch’s Army Series and is produced as a limited edition of 1,775 pieces. The collection combines automatic mechanical timekeeping with features focused on legibility, shock resistance and protection against magnetic fields. The NM3000C-S11C-YE represents the yellow-dial version of the 40mm Engineer III Army, bringing together its mechanical movement, micro gas tube illumination and protective specifications.
Micro Gas Tube Illumination
The yellow dial incorporates 51 micro gas tubes positioned across the dial and on the hour, minute and second hands for night reading capability. The illumination is designed to keep the time and key dial details visible in dark conditions. The anti-reflective treatment on the sapphire crystal helps reduce reflections over the dial, allowing the illuminated elements and yellow surface to remain clearly visible.
COSC-Certified Automatic Movement
The watch is powered by the automatic BALL RR1103-C calibre, which is chronometer certified by COSC. It provides hours, minutes, sweep seconds and a magnified date. BALL’s SpringLOCK® patented hairspring anti-shock system helps protect the movement from the effects of impact, while the watch has a shock resistance rating of up to 5,000 G. Anti-magnetic protection is rated to 1,000 Gauss, equivalent to 80,000 A/m.
Stainless Steel Construction
The stainless steel case has a screwed-in crown and a water resistance rating of 100 metres (330 feet). The matching stainless steel bracelet is fitted with a folding buckle, while the 20mm lug width connects the bracelet to the case. With a lug-to-lug measurement of approximately 46.6mm, the 40mm case has defined proportions across the wrist. The combination of the yellow dial, sapphire crystal, automatic COSC-certified movement, micro gas tube illumination and protective technologies completes the Engineer III Army specification.
