This Wenger Urban Classic 01.1741.137 is one of the standout pieces belonging to the Urban Classic family, offering versatility, as well as a combination of stylish designs and highly dependable movement - it’s the epitome of metropolitan panache.

The Case:

The case of this timepiece is made from stainless steel and it features a silver polished fixed bezel. Alternatively, the lugs have been finished using a brushing technique, the result of the contrasting steel finishes is subtle, yet aesthetically pleasing. Measuring at just 9mm in height, this timepiece makes for the perfect companion whether for your next business meeting or dinner in town. A silver crown is also present besides the 3 o'clock mark. Further protection is yielded through sapphire-coated mineral crystal glass, a material which is favoured by luxury watch brands because of its unparalleled scratch and shatter resistance.

The Dial:

The refined, sleek design of the black dial has an alluring appeal that sanctions faultless levels of legibility. It consists of slender, elegant stick indexes which form a 60 minute track around the outer edge of the dial. They are accompanied by dashes of lime green arabic numerals. Besides the 3 o'clock marker there is a petit date window that complements the dial's minimalistic design. Moreover, the delicate silver baton hands provide the watch with additional levels of gracefulness and sophistication. The understated black stainless Milanese mesh style steel bracelet of the watch radiates class. The history of the mesh style of bracelet can be traced by to the 13th century, when it was first produced as a form of armour in Milan. It is favourable because it is more robust than standard watch bands because it had no pins between its links and intertwined loops of its mesh made from stainless steel. However, a loss of comfort does not come at the cost of such peerless levels of robustness, as the design still allows the watch to sit comfortably on the wrist. It fastens using a deployment clasp.
