The new retro release of the classic chronograph. Junghans Meister Telemeter 027/3380.00 is a homage to the legacy when the telemeter and tachymeter displays were first combined in a single Junghans chronograph in 1951. An expertly crafted watch, combining both technical and sporty for a style that is a standout today just as it was 70 years ago. A classic combination of black leather strap and silver dial contrasts with the red telemeter markings providing a standout watch that can be used for any occasion.

The Case:
The silver dial is housed inside a silver stainless steel case. The back of the case features a screwed design which means that the watch’s water-resistance is ensured over a longer time. The crown, of which can be seen at the 3 o’clock position, then screws into the thread of the tube and gaskets are fitted to further enhance water-resistance. On either side of the crown are two buttons which are used to access the watches many features. All in all, the case measures at a diameter of 40.8mm which complements the sleek height of just 12.6mm. Sat inline with the case is confex hard plexiglass with coating for enhanced scratch resistance.
The Strap:
The beautiful black leather strap complements the dial and case well, making for a stylish addition to your wrist. The strap can be easily fastened using a stainless steel buckle according to your size and taste.
The Dial:
The matte silver dial is the host for a multitude of functions. Around the very edge of the dial is a tachymeter which is used to measure both speed and time. The scale comes in a black font and able to measure distances of up to 1000 meters. The telemeter chronograph is another feature seen just inwards of the tachymeter. It allows the user to approximately measure the distance to an event that can be both seen and heard (e.g. a lightning bolt or a torpedo strike) using the speed of sound. The next circle of indexes displays the seconds in five step increments as well as standard markers making up the rest of the seconds. Hour indexes are seen in a beige/gold font which is matched by the cathedral style hands. Two chronograph sub dials, which are used to measure time separately take over the 3 and 9 o'clock index. These chronographs are perfect for measuring a run in the park or a quick sprint. Additionally, due to a stop second hand function the watch is enabled with precise timing. With environmentally friendly luminous substance the watch can be used in the darkness of night.
The Functions:
The hands are powered by an automatic movement, which is achieved through the natural notion of the wrist. The module in particular used is J880.3 which is known for its long life of 42 hours and reliability. As mentioned, due to the screw down design the watch has a water resistance of 50 metres, making it suitable for surface swimming.
As an additional option the glass can be retrofitted with sapphire crystal which is known for its resilient and clear properties.

- Any customs, duty, tax or clearance fees billed to us by the courier
