THE RICH HISTORY OF SEIKO
Seiko is a Japanese company that makes watches, clocks, electronic devices, semiconductors, jewellery, and optical products1. It was founded in 1881 by Kintarō Hattori in Tokyo1 and introduced the world’s first commercial quartz wristwatch in 19691. Seiko is known for its perfection, craftsmanship, and accuracy and has a reputation for being one of the few vertically integrated watch companies, meaning it can design and manufacture all the components of its watches in-house. Seiko also has other brands in Japan and the international market, such as Alba2.
