The Case:

This Seiko Prospex ‘Black Series’ Solar Diver’s 1965 Re-Interpretation SNE587P1 is housed in a 38.5mm black PVD stainless steel case. A unidirectional rotating bezel sits on top of the case, it features a countdown scale and a green luminous pip at 12 o’clock. The knurled walls of the bezel enable it to be easily rotated. A screw-down crown is present besides the 3 o’clock mark, it is flanked either side by a crown guard. Sapphire crystal glass has been used to protect the dial, because it offers optimum resistance against scratches and damage.

The Dial:

The black dial is brought to life by green accents that are originally inspired by the mysterious world of night diving. The simplistic layout of the dial ensures optimum legibility and avoids the risk of any complications. The dial consists of bold lumibrite hour markers and an equally bold lumibrite handset, allowing the wearer to read the time in the dark. A subtle date display window is present at the 3 o’clock position on the dial. The Seiko logo is presented in silver beneath the 12 o’clock marker.

The Bracelet:
