Seiko Customised Divers 200m Automatic ‘Hornet’ Bezel Men’s Watch 42mm

This Seiko Customised Divers 200m Automatic ‘Hornet’ Bezel Men’s Watch 42mm pairs a superb range of diving-specific complications with a sleek stainless steel bracelet. This timepiece has been modified in terms of the bezel insert, with the colour scheme of black and yellow resembling that of a hornet.

In terms of the functionality of the watch, a day and date window can be found at the 3 o’clock position with the batons powered by an automatic 7S26 calibre engine. Furthermore, the indexes and hands have been coated with luminescent, making them visible in the vast depth of the sea and ocean. In terms of design, the ever present Seiko logo is found just below the 12 o’clock position upon the dark blue dial. These features are protected by hardlex crystal glass and a stainless steel case. To equip this masterpiece, a deployment clasp is used to fasten a silver stainless steel bracelet.

The Brand: Seiko

Ceaseless determination to innovate in every aspect of the watchmaker’s art is what defines Seiko’s 135-year history. By embracing this ethos, Seiko has been responsible for a string of industry-leading advances in the technology of time. Notably, the creation of the world’s first quartz watch in 1969. Or equally impressive the creation of the world’s first TV watch in 1982. And even more relevant today, with our abhorrent use of non-renewable energy sources, Seiko’s Kinetic. This watch had the ability to generate its own power from the movement of the wearer, it was released in 1988. The listed technological developments serve as evidence to illustrate the revolutionary impact which Seiko has had on the watchmaking world. They are also remarkably unique in that they manufacture every aspect of every watch in-house. They even grow their own quartz crystals and sapphires, hence why Seiko are renowned for being watchmaking experts.
