Seiko 5 Automatic Blue Dial Stainless Steel Men’s Watch SNK603K1
Driven by a 21-jewel automatic movement, this Seiko 5 Automatic Blue Dial Silver Stainless Steel Men’s Watch SNK603K1 has an exclusive Seiko 7S26 engine. Starting with the dial, the ever present Seiko logo can be found just below the 12 o’clock position. Firstly, at the 3 o’clock position is a simplistic day and date window making for easy reading. Furthermore, around the edges of the dial are index markers coated in a luminous material for visibility at night. Moreover, this dial is protected by a silver stainless steel case and hardened mineral glass. To equip this timepiece, a silver stainless steel bracelet is fastened using a deployment clasp to sit comfortably around ones wrist.
This watch has a water resistance rating of 30 metres, meaning it can be subjected to light splashes but should not be used for swimming.

The Family: Seiko 5
The Seiko 5 family has set the standard in affordable, rugged and stylish watches since 1963. They incorporate simplicity, but seriousness. The name of the Seiko 5 derives from its five key attributes, which Seiko promised to include in every watch that belonged to the family. They are: automatic winding, displaying the day and date in a single window, water resistance, a recessed crown at the 4 o’clock position and a durable metal bracelet.
1963 marked the year that the Seiko 5 acted as a catalyst in the horological revolution in automatic watchmaking. Even after being in the market for over 50 years, albeit the Seiko 5 still remains as cool and relevant as ever. Though this serves as proof that expert craftsmanship and elegant design will never go out of fashion.
The Brand: Seiko
Ceaseless determination to innovate in every aspect of the watchmaker’s art is what defines Seiko’s 135-year history. By embracing this ethos, Seiko has been responsible for a string of industry-leading advances in the technology of time. Notably, the creation of the world’s first quartz watch in 1969. Or equally impressive the creation of the world’s first TV watch in 1982. And even more relevant today, with our abhorrent use of non-renewable energy sources, Seiko’s Kinetic. The listed technological developments serve as evidence to illustrate the revolutionary impact which Seiko has had on the watchmaking world. They are also markably unique in that they manufacture every aspect of every watch in-house.
