This Casio Sport Collection Twin Sensor Digital Quartz Men’s Watch SGW-450H-2BER is a perfect fit for any fitness fanatics. The dial has both a digital and analogue display with both being powered by a quartz battery movement. The dial is host to a multitude of features, these include a stopwatch, world time, 5 daily alarms and an automatic calendar.

Two of the most outstanding functions on this watch are the altimeter and barometer, which are labelled at the top and bottom of the case. The altimeter can detect changes in air pressure and convert these results into a height up to 10,000 metres. Also using the same sensor, the barometer is used to predict and display changes in weather. A thick black resin case, alongside acrylic glass protects the dial. Finally, a black resin strap fastens the leather bracelet.

This watch has a water resistance of 100 metres, thus making it suitable for swimming and snorkelling.

The Brand: Casio

Firstly, Casio was established in 1946 by Japanese engineer Tadao Kashio. Also, the company entered the watch market in 1974 with the release of the Casiotron, which was the world’s first Auto Calendar watch. Additionally, only eleven years after entering this field Casio reshaped global thought about the functions a watch should perform. This began with the release of the legendary G-Shock family.

Innovation and world firsts have defined the company’s history ever since. The most striking of these being the release of the first ever touch screen watch in 1991, 24 years before the Apple Watch. Also they released the first ever wrist camera watch in 2000. Casio have been producing smartwatches decades before the term ever came into circulation. Furthermore, they have firmly cemented its reputation as a famously reliable and precise name in the watch world.
