As part of the black and rose gold series, this Casio Limited Edition Black And Rose Gold Resin Mens Watch  GA-800MMC-1AER 49mm is a stunning addition to the G-Shock family. Starting with the metallic rose gold coloured dial, a digital display aligned to the bottom of the dial showcase the day in three letter abbreviations as well as the month and date respectively. Accessed through buttons on the side of the case are different modes, including a timer, stopwatch and world time. The dial also has an analogue display with rose gold coloured hands and indexes powered by a battery which lasts up to 5 years. This dial which is packed with plently of functionality is protected by hard glass which is resistant to scratching and a black resin case. A black resin strap is then fastened through a standard buckle to sit comfortably around ones wrist.

The Family: G-Shock

At a time when watches were seen as fragile, delicate instruments, Casio’s head of watch design, Kikuo Ibe, set out in 1981 to create “a watch that doesn’t break, even when dropped.” After 200 prototypes and two years of development, the Casio G-Shock was launched in 1983.
