Seiko Special Edition Prospex Chronograph Save The Ocean 'Great White' Silver Steel Blue Dial Solar Men's Watch SSC741P1Part of Seiko’s Save the Ocean series, this Seiko Special Edition Prospex Chronograph Save The Ocean 'Great White' Silver Steel Blue Dial Solar Men's Watch SSC741P1 is a stunning addition to the Prospex lineup. As is the case with the entire Save the Ocean range, every watch sold results in a donation to the Fabian Costeau Ocean Learning Centre, an organisation founded to preserve and protect the world’s oceans. The blue dial has a wave pattern throughout just like the body of water it has been inspired from. At the 8 o'clock position is a secret shark fin breaching the surface of water on the dial. Additionally, the end of the second hand is in the shape of a sharks fin. Inbetween the 4 and 5 o'clock position is a simplistic date window with chronographs accurate up to 60 seconds appearing at the 3, 6 & 9 positions. The indexes and hands, of which are coated in a luminiscent material to see in the dark, are powered by a precise V175 solar movement. The dial is then protected by a stainless steel case and hardlex crystal glass. Ontop of the case is a blue gradient bezel again representing diving to the depths of the ocean. Finally, a silver stainless steel bracelet is fastened using a three fold clasp. This epic timepiece is perfect for those who seek the thrill of diving with a water resistance of 200 meters or 20ATM.Key Features:Silver Stainless Steel Case Hardlex CrystalSilver Stainless Steel BraceletCalibre: V175Solar MovementManual Winding CapacityDuration Approximately 41 HoursLumiBrite On Hands & Indexes200m Water Resistant23 JewelsDate DisplayScrew Case BackScrew-Down CrownThree-fold ClaspUnidirectional Rotating BezelChronograph The Family: ProspexThe Seiko Prospex family uses Seiko’s innovative ethos to combat the watchmaker’s greatest challenge, adventure sports. When Danish adventurer and businessman René Kaerskov parachuted into the Arctic in 2008, he had no idea that his descent would spark a new era. As he approached the most northerly point of the globe, Kaerskov was awestruck by the simple beauty and infinite white expanse of the seemingly endless ice sheets. Taking inspiration from this fateful moment, Kaerskov decided to develop a watch brand that would be as pure, clear and stunningly serene as the Arctic itself – Bering watches was born. Not just content with reflecting the Arctic in the brand’s design, Bering also seeks to protect it through both their Solar collection and support of animal welfare organization Polar Bears International. Powered by any kind of light and capable of running for 6 to 12 months once fully charged, the Solar collection is clean manufacturing and signature Bering design at its finest. An original and striking take on the classic sports chronograph, this Bering Solar Men’s Chronograph (34440-702) teams a black dial that contains contrasting white sub dials with a stainless steel case and three-row stainless steel bracelet
