Introducing the Seiko Prospex black series limited editions based off the Seiko Sumo and Marinemaster 300.


Seiko’s new black series range consists of 3 beautiful designs the SLA035J1, SPB125J1 and finally the SSC761J1. These stealthy black limited editions are definitely eye watering and personally one of our favourite models to be released lately.

The SLA035J1

References a red accented dial and minute hand offering water resistance of up to a very deep and impressive 300m, it’s a watch that channels the great Seiko Marinemaster 300. The watch has sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inner surface, the bezel display material is black-coloured zirconia ceramics to ensure both high legibility and rigidity a feature that is commonly applied to the Grand Seiko watches, furthermore the red second hand disappears under the deep ocean but adds a nice aesthetic for daily use. This piece is limited to just 600 and will be available to buy from March 2020.


The SPB125J1

Which offers an all-black look of the popular Seiko Sumo the stealth design offers attracting cream coloured markers and an orange minute hand with a black hard coating is applied to the stainless steel case, The orange of the minute hand echoes the light flashed in the dark ocean by the night divers which allows the exact time to be read under dark conditions. This piece is limited to just 7,000 and will be available to buy now!


The SSC761J1

Is based on the Seiko Sumo Chrono it features an all-black DLC hardened stainless steel case with cream coloured markers with Lumbrite hands and indexes the power comes from the Seiko V192 solar caliber movement with an accuracy of +15 seconds per month making it a very precise piece. Some of the main features include 200m meter water resistance, resuming electric power generation, 24 hour hand, sub seconds and overcharge prevention system. This piece is limited to just 3,500 pieces and is available to buy now.
