The case was polished using Seiko’s zaratsu polishing technique, which is what provides the case with its distinctive mirrored finish. A 120-click black unidirectional bezel is positioned on top of the case; it exhibits a 60-minute scale that is presented in an icy blue hue. On the side of the case there is a screw down crown that is positioned at 4 o’clock, the positioning of the crown ensures that it does not dig into the wearer’s wrists. The colour of the gradient blue dial matches that of the accents on the bezel, as well as on the rehaut. The dial exhibits an uncomplicated layout, as it features a combination of circular and rectangular hour markers that have been filled with Seiko Lumibrite material ensuring that the dial can be read in the dark. A simple date-display window is nestled in between the 4 and 5 o’clock marker.
