Delivery and Returns Policy
FREE Next day delivery on orders placed by 4pm Monday to Friday.
We know your order is important to you, so we use Royal Mail’s tracked delivery service. Once you receive your shipping email, your order’s on its way.
We also offer the Royal Mail’s Special Delivery service, which for an additional fee of £10 will guarantee delivery before 9:00 and for £6 will guarantee delivery before 13:00.
Unfortunately, we did not ship or deliver on UK national holidays, and any orders received on these days will be promptly dispatched the next working day.
EU and International Deliveries
Orders over £250 qualify for free standard delivery to the EU (2 working days), with any EU orders under this amount being subject to a £12 delivery charge.
On average, a delivery to the EU will take between 3-5 working days and delivery to the rest of the world will take 5-7 working days. Non-EU countries are required to pay a delivery fee that will be totaled at checkout.
WatchNation will never be responsible for any tax or customs duties that are applicable to non-EU countries; the customer will be required to pay these.
Unfortunately, it is not currently a part of WatchNation policy to pay for any customs or tax duties that apply to non-EU countries, with these being the sole responsibility of the customer. Returns will not be accepted unless the customer has cleared the relevant charges, and refunds sadly will not be issued until the product in question has arrived back in our warehouses totally free of any charges.
Tracking Your Order
All tracking numbers are promptly sent out via email and will enable you to track the progress of your order from our warehouse to your door.
Royal Mail and their partner couriers will leave a card to inform that they have attempted a delivery, with this enabling you to either rearrange a delivery of collect your package from your local Royal Mail delivery office. On very rare occasions, Royal Mail couriers have been known to not leave a card notifying you of a delivery attempt. If this happens then the best course of action is to check with your local Royal Mail delivery office before getting in touch with us.
Delivery of High Value Items
For security and insurance purposes, items totaling over £500 require a signature upon delivery and cannot be delivered if this signature is not provided. As is the case with non-high value items, a card will be left with all the necessary instructions required to receive your parcel.
It is always best to inspect your delivered item to ensure that it has not been tampered with or damaged. If it appears this is the case, you should always refuse delivery.
WatchNation prides itself on its ability to ensure that all its customers receive their item(s) on time, but on the very rare occasion that our shipping capacity is exceeded, there may be delay of one day on your order. We never like to see this happen, but it sadly comes with the territory when purchasing items online. Should this ever happen, we will ensure that your item is clearly marked for urgent delivery and dispatched the next working day.
Late deliveries can also be the fault of one of our courier partners. We deeply regret when this happens, but it is unfortunately beyond our control. If this ever happens, we will do our utmost to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.
If a late delivery is the fault of the courier/postal service, WatchNation will refund all the relevant delivery charges, with this not applying to free deliveries. Unfortunately, we currently will not compensate for any consequential losses, such as time taken off work to receive a delivery and purchasing the item from a more expensive retailer.
In the extremely rare event that a parcel is completely lost, we will do everything within our power to ensure that your item(s) is delivered to you as soon as possible. A replacement item or refund cannot be issued until the parcel in question is confirmed as lost by the relevant delivery service, with the loss confirmation period depending on the service used:
- Royal Mail Recorded Delivery/ 1st Class – 10 working days
- Royal Mail 9am/ Track 24 – 10 working days
- Royal Mail International Delivery – 21 working days
RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS POLICY
Although we’re sure you’ll love your WatchNation purchase, we are happy to refund any order you’re unhappy within 30 days of receipt.
In order to cancel your order free of charge, you must clearly contact us prior to your item being dispatched. In order to do this, you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or via telephone o1244 621707 and we will cancel your order, giving you a full refund via the payment method used.
Conditions of Refunds/Exchanges
While it's perfectly okay to try your watch on, in order to achieve a full refund you must return it in an unworn condition in its original packaging and complete with the security tag, purchase receipt, warranty, and any other relevant extras that came as part of your purchase, such as spare links. Failure to do so will, unfortunately, disqualify you from a full refund.
We are not able to refund or exchange watches that have been sized by the customer or another jewelers or watch specialist.
This refund policy is only applicable to watches sold via our website. For watches purchased from our store, contact the store directly. Any watches that arrive damaged must be reported within 24 hours of arrival.
How to Send Items Back
We recommend using Royal Mail tracked delivery when returning an item(s), with the customer having to cover the costs of this service if the item in question is under £60.
Emails should be sent to email@example.com with the subject ‘Refund/Exchanges’ and one of our customer service representatives will get back to you with all the relevant instructions.

Once the item(s) has arrived back with us we will check to see if everything is in order and whether you qualify for a refund. We do our best to process all refunds on the same day we receive them, but sometimes the relevant checks can take up to 7 days. Any refunded money should be back in your back account within 14 working days.
We unfortunately cannot offer refunds on any bespoke or special order item(s). These can only be returned if they are found to be faulty or sent in error.
Any pierced jewellery (earrings, etc.) cannot be returned unless it has a manufacturing fault.
Purchasing an item through finance may affect your ability to return the product.
Item Received in Error
In the highly unlikely event that you receive an item in error, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject ‘Item received in error’ and include your name, address, order number and product details. Once we’ve received this email, a customer service representative will contact you with instructions as to how to resolve the situation.
Under EU law, any item(s) purchased as new is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects for a period of two years from the date of purchase. If a non-EU warranty only extends to one-year, then WatchNation will warrant the product for a further year under the same terms and conditions as the manufacturer’s warranty. Whilst under warranty, and provided that the relevant proof of purchase is produced, any product purchased from WatchNation will either be repaired or replaced.
For pre-owned products, the same terms and conditions as above apply for a period of one year.
If a product has been purchased as new outside the EU, then it is warranted for the period specified under the manufacturer’s international warranty terms and conditions.
All warranties, whether these are a manufacturer’s or WatchNation’s, only cover mechanical faults and failures and not any kind of accidental damage or loss.
